Compact, tamperproof GZ40 meters are sealed against the environment (IP rated up to IP66) to provide years of service. Accumulated load usage hours are stored in the mechanical indicating counter; therefore, no battery is required to maintain elapsed time. An input diode provides polarity protection. A quartz crystal time base ensures accurate, long-term timekeeping.
