The Satco 3ft LED T8 Tube, model 12T8/LED/36-840/BP 120-277V(S9928), is specified at 12W, 4000K. In a troffer or strip fixture with sockets for T8 lamps, this model can be considered for the matching lamp position. A fixture with integral LED boards requires a different replacement approach. Choose 4000K when that colour matches neighbouring lights in the stockroom or service area; this choice does not by itself establish the required brightness. At 1450 lumens per tube, the finished light level over desks and circulation areas also depends on how many tubes the fixture uses and how much light its lens or louvre transmits. This version is non-dimmable and should be used on a suitable switching circuit.
