Its warm colour is useful when matching working tubes in a multi-lamp troffer. In an office reception or shared lounge, keep the same colour throughout the fixture if a uniform appearance matters. This is a fluorescent lamp and operates in a fixture with the appropriate fluorescent ballast.

For an LED changeover, compare the linked Type A option with the Type B option set to 3000K. Type A retains a compatible electronic ballast; Type B requires the ballast to be bypassed and the fixture rewired. The replacement light level and number of lamps per package need not match this 30-pack.

For an LED change while retaining a 3000K colour choice, the options include WLL-LEDT8BC10/830/HE(4FT) (Type A), RENO-LEDT8-13W-DV-MCCT-48GC (4FT) (Type B), RENO-LEDT8-MW-DV-MCCT(4FT) (Type B), RENO-LEDT8BP-10.5W-5CCT-48G (4FT) (Type B). Selectable options should be set to 3000K for the same colour temperature. Type A operation retains a compatible electronic ballast. For Type B use, a qualified installer must rewire the fitting with the ballast bypassed or removed according to the model instructions.
